For reasons that are still unclear to me, I was inspired to write a version of Dicken's A Christmas Carol with the the spirits of the past, present and future replaced by each of the new gaming consoles - Steam, PS4 and Xbox One, respectively. Definitely not my usual approach, but it was fun to write.
