Mathieu Turpault (Design Director at Bresslergroup) and I will be presenting at the upcoming IDSA Northeast/CoCreate conference in New Jersey. We'll be speaking from the personal perspective of growing the user interface capabilities at Bresslergroup over the years and will cover topics including:
- Roles of industrial designers in user interface design
- Industrial-design vs. user-interface design led proccesses
- How and when user research fits in to mixed UI/ID projects
- Whether user interface design is metaphorically peanut butter or jelly
The conference starts on April 16th, and we're speaking at 9am - so get there early. Also note that it was originally described as a "workshop" but due to time and logistical reasons we're doing it as a presentation, but leaving plenty of time for discussions and questions.
