Rob Tannen, PhD, IDSA, will deliver a presentation on the state of user research technology. The presentation is Tuesday, October 17th @630PM, and is hosted by the New York City Chapter of the Usability Professional's Association (UPA).
The presentation will cover the following topics:
- The goals and limitations of current user research technologies
- Overview of some of the latest user research tools (e.g. remote testing, eye tracking, digital ethnography)
- Criteria for evaluating user research technology
- Discussion of emerging technology trends (e.g. ubiquitous computing, product integration) and their impact on user research capabilities
